Stories of Migration and Memory
This collaborative project by Teresa Chen and Obaydul Kabir Rikto brings together two perspectives on migration and memory.
Teresa works with family photographs from her mother, who fled China and later moved to the United States.
Rikto's installation draws on his own migration from Bangladesh and conversations with people who have left—or felt they had to leave—their homes to build new lives in Europe and Switzerland.
Together, they explore how memory, displacement, and personal histories shape our sense of identity.
The project is still evolving, and visitors are invited to drop by, see the work, talk with the artists, and share their own stories and experiences.
